Back in the day when I was a film major, I used to volunteer as a PA (Production Assistant) for Senior Thesis film projects. One of the film project was a horror film and the location for the film was at Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles. Linda Vista Hospital closed down in 1991 and since then served mainly as a film set. Today, the hospital is no longer standing, it was demolished and turned into senior living apartments. The hospital was featured in several Hollywood horror films and TV shows, it was also featured in ghost hunting shows.
Above are some of the pictures I took on my phone of the hospital. I found them while going through old files.
Between takes, we had some free time to explore, so we headed to the basement. In the basement there were old baby incubators, surgical tables, and other medical equipment and furniture gathering dust. It was eerie.
As for the paranormal activities fire alarm went off and power went out (can't really call it paranormal), we saw an office chair speeding down a hallway but no one was there to give it a push, and one of the crew members said they felt like someone touched them while they were alone in the equipment room.
It was an interesting experience, one that I would never forget.
